Hi,
If you saved your HTML file in one folder and placed your image in another folder then it will not work directly. You Have to enter full path of your image in src.
OR
Place your image into your folder where you saved your html file.

Started HTML a couple days ago. This part with linking an image is not working for me. I get a missing image box even when i right click and select show image. The image is in the same folder as the .htm file that I made and opened using my browser. Here is my code:

<html>
<head>
<p> To me:</p>
</head>

<body style="background-color:#fff000;">
<strong> I love you! </strong> <hr /> <br />
<ol>
<li>ur cool</li>
<li>ur a 10/10</li>
<li>piece of cake</li>
</ol>
<img src="elspeth.jpg" />
</body>

</html>

I am having the same issue attempting to display both images and gifs saved in the same folder as the html document itself. Would love to see the solution.

Dude, the picture(s) need to be in the same folder as the document. Also, make sure to hit "Save Image As", but don't change the title of the picture; leave it as is.

You have three option to open an image JPG, PNG, GIF
and the source of the image should be the same location as your html page or change the location
best reagrds!

Click the Library button then click History and select Clear Recent History….
In the Time Range to clear drop-down, select Everything.
Click the arrow next to Details to display the list of items that can be cleared.
Select both Cookies and Cache.
Click Clear Now
Then again login that's it

Check the image location correctly. Use the supported format such as .jpg, .png etc.
