how to make a new but small window to open

i want to know how i can make a small window to open when people click on a link.

instead of opening a new web page i just want a small 300x250 window to open.

i like the example you gave me but the one i want should open a new window kind of like a pop-up.

Yes the code will by defualt open it in middle of the page.

please note that most modern brwoser refuse to show popups on their default settings.
So while your code is correct and legit, but that does not trigger a popup window if the browser settings
is not configured correctly.

Also, if you use adblock, it can block the popup window like so... I recommend you to test it for that.
