No "Save As" in Text Edit

No "Save As" in Text EditI am trying to save "Page1" using Text Edit on my Mac. There is only a "save" option, no "Save As" or "All Files". When I am saving this as .html and opening it in a new browser the entire text is showing with all of the opening and closing tags surround the text. Am I missing a step to only allow the text to show in the browser?
Re: No "Save As" in Text EditThanks for your help CubeSquare.
I am following the steps you gave me along with changing the necessary setup for textedit with the link you provided, and I am still unable to open it in a browser without seeing the tags.
These are the steps I am doing:
While in TextEdit: File, Save, Document Name - Page1, Where - Desktop, File Format - Plain Text and then save button.
Then I am going to Safari or Firefox (whichever)... File, Open File, then opening Page1 (which is saved as a txt not html)
.... could that be the reason why I am still seeing the tags when opening it?
Could there be something wrong with the coding? This is what I typed:
<title>My first website</title>
<p>Hurrah! This is my first website.</p>
Thanks again for your help... looking forward to solving my dilemma.
