mysql syntax is not secure

by codelover » Wed Jul 30, 2014 5:45 am

"mysql_connect" and all other commands using "mysql" is oldschool now! easy to hack into the server. why don't you guys show people example of "mysqli" or "PDO" or maybe "MariaDB".

I suggest adding a lesson to discuss mysql poor security and provide explanation of alternatives or link that do so.

Thanks for the amazing tuts out there,
Best Regards.

these are basic tutorials and written way back now we are working on it's up-gradation mysql is not nu-secure it just have less features and deprecated and it's place is been taken my mysqli adapter all mysql functions are also available in mysqli(improved) adapter as well.

PDO is advance PHP Data Object and these are just basic tutorials we do not want to confuse the beginners.
