Server side counter

by aej11 » Thu Mar 05, 2015 1:39 am

I want to make a website with a simple petition for people to "sign" just by clicking a button. we also need to be able to display the cumulative total to the viewer.
So, i assume i need to set a value on the server and increment it each time the button is clicked. Is that correct? How would i do this? If i'm wrong, how should i do it?

Thanks guys!
