How do I incorporate a php script login into my index.html?

by MattAufiero » Tue Oct 11, 2016 8:14 pm

Hello all, I am currently trying to develop my first site from scratch and am teaching myself html css and php to do it. I have made some good progress with html and css, but now when I try to incorporate my php in the the index.html (I did change the file to index.php before testing) nothing shows up in the browser. I am wondering what is going on before I had a beautiful front end and then when I tried to add in a login system with php scripts and changed the file to index.php nothing shows up in the browser the page is just blank.

Make sure your index.php file is on a PHP enabled web server.

If you have error in your php code then you may see a blank page. Make sure you have properly closed all your php tags.

And try logging error in the console to track the issue. Alternatively you can echo the o/p in the browser and trace the line having errors.

You can refer this tutorial php mysql login & registration system.

I hope that helps.
