Wanted to get some honest opinions on what I should do here.

Also it doesnt seem like servers are that much cheaper on a linux set up correct?

This is a good article because there are many tips and also many advices that will be very useful for me.
Thanks!

Here we stand at the dawn of yet another year. 2018 saw the birth of some new trends, while some trends disappeared altogether. Although this holds true for every industry, here we are concerned with the ever-evolving world of the Internet where things change constantly.

This post was 11 months ago. As such, are you able to decide? Anyway, I found the information below on Google and I hope that will help you decide.

ASP.NET is better suited for large and medium-sized organizations whereas PHP is better equipped to serve start-up and small-sized organizations. ASP.NET being paid has a decent market share in the IT world whereas PHP being open source, is freely available to the developers has a higher market share than ASP.NET.

It's no secret among web developers and programmers in general: PHP doesn't have the best reputation. While many of the arguments against PHP still stand today, there's also a bright side: you can write clean and maintainable, fast and reliable applications in PHP, even Mooneeponds Electrician uses this a lot in their assignments.
