How to size and position a 'Submit' button?

by SteveH » Wed Apr 02, 2014 4:23 am

Hello

I have a test page here: http://www.bayingwolf.com/Dima_Login/button/buttonTest.html

My CSS external style-sheet is magnifying my image (Submit button) hugely and I would like it to appear normal sized! I would also like to position it underneath the input field, and perhaps centred or even right-aligned, but my external style-sheet I think is determining its behaviour. I added this to my external style-sheet:

Code: Select all
.image {
width: 125px;
height: 55px;
float: right;
margin-bottom: 15px;}

but had no success. The problem, I think, lies here:

Code: Select all
#contact-area input {
  padding: 5px;
  width: 350px;
  font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif;
  font-size: 1.4em;
  margin: 0px 0px 10px 0px;
  border: 2px solid #ccc;

I would be grateful for any help, please.

Thank you.

Change your css to this maybe this will help

#contact-area input[text] {
padding: 5px;
width: 350px;
font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 1.4em;
margin: 0px 0px 10px 0px;
border: 2px solid #ccc;
}
