Need help regarding render-blocking error in CSS & JS

by sidpathan » Fri Nov 11, 2016 7:32 am

Hello everyone,

Can you please help me resolve this issue - "Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content" on http://www.dealmonitor.in as mentioned on https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dealmonitor.in%2F&tab=mobile. I tried some techniques from net but I couldn't resolve it. Your help will be appreciated.

Thank you :)

It talks about needing a JavaScript (that's what it showed on my screen, at least), so maybe you would need to update that, unless you are on a school computer or another computer that needs permission to run stuff like that, then you may need to get someone to do that for you. For some of the other things, like optimizing the images, you may either need to check to see if you typed it in right or you may need to look farther into this tutorial, and i am not to sure on how to fix the "Minify HTML" thing, so i will not be helpful for that. For leverage caching, Set a date in the HTTP headers for static resources instructs the browser.
