Static positioning..

Hello... I need a help... Have you seen the facebook profile page or the wall.. When you scroll down, all the thing go up but donot overlap with the header.. They just go under the header.. I am also trying to do the same thing.. I have founded that they have used static position.. When I used it, it worked but the problem in my case is that I can't move the div a little more left or right.. Please help..

Can we give shadow to a div or text using javascript.. And also can we use gradient and border radius via javascript.. I just want to add these through javascript.. Can u please help!

yes we can by using css 3 javascript can be used to change the id's and classes of a div.
I Think you need to learn CSS first for better understanding about the subject

yes for getting basic knowledge and after that you should learn further about css 3 and it's new properties good luck
