Website Feedback

by EcoTots » Mon Feb 02, 2015 8:57 am

Hi,
I am after feedback on my website please.
It's my first attempt and I'm not very arty so I used a lass from Fivrr to come up with my logo, and I've kept it pretty plain, although I wouldn't mind having an earthy feel, I don't know how to do that and make it nice and modern, so I've stuck with white for now.
I want to add Tabs in the product section, mainly for the nappies so there is not such a wall of text, so if I had tabs for the description, then sizing, washing and warranty all tabbed I think it would look better.
My husband says I can do this in the CSS, and so that's my next project. He added the truck on the main page to draw attention to the shipping. (He is far more clever than I, but works full time and this is my project so I'm trying to do the bulk myself)
I think my product descriptions are getting better, as I'm learning to write for SEO, I read that meta tags no longer work, and to just write the content for SEO?
Anyway, any feedback greatly appreciated.

TY!

I think I am getting better at SEO, I have some of my keywords in the top 30, none on first page yet, but getting there. Seeing a little more traffic as a result.

Not sure how I can improve user friendlyness given it's a cart, but I'll think on it and talk to hubby. I have added tabs in the description so it's not such a big wall of text.
So it's description than a tab for washing, one for size and one for manufacturer info and warranty. I am not sure it's more user friendly as now there are tabs to hit, but it certainly looks cleaner, less cluttered and not a big wall of text.

Next is to put the categories down the side so I'm not limited by space across the top as to how many I can have.

Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated.
